It still baffles my mind when I hear a landlord didn't do a tenant credit and background check
before handing over a set of keys to a new tenant only to find out the guy was a dead-beat loser criminal who couldn't be bothered to pay rent and sold drugs out the apartment and basically destroyed the place.
