Marketing Through Social Networking Sites
Submitted By: Social Network Marketing Date: August 29, 2010, 08:50:39 PM Views: 3433
Summary: Marketing through social networking sites is the latest buzz phrase amongst internet gurus. The charm of it all is how they want to charge you thousands of dollars to either a.) teach you how to do the work yourself or b.) do it for you.

Frankly neither option appeals to me when the price tag is in the four figures.  This is why I designed a way to do it myself - and teach others for under a less than three figure price tag.

When I wrote The Social Networking Business Plan I wanted users to have a one time setup (per line of business) that was clear and effective for use on each of the major social networking sites.  Along the way I discovered a simple way to add some advertising to monetize the process enough that within a years time or less the entire cost of the book ("The Plan") would be paid for.  Try getting that kind of money back from your $2000 guru internet marketing course.

If you haven't already done so, I strongly recommend you join our Social Networking Group on Facebook to grab all the free office software we've put on there (WHAT??!?! You still use Micro$oft???).  We've also put instructions in the group discussions as to how to pick up a couple of Newbie Internet Marketing books (about 35 pages total - but they're really GOOD pages).

This article was written under the same example account we used in The Social Networking Business Plan, and as a result posting the article here will update all the other sample social networking accounts we setup in our "mock plan."  We'll write future articles under this pseudonym to help users better understand how to use this site and "the Plan."
