It still baffles my mind when I hear a landlord didn't do a tenant credit and background check before handing over a set of keys to a new tenant only to find out the guy was a dead-beat loser criminal who couldn't be bothered to pay rent and sold drugs out the apartment and basically destroyed the place.

If you are new to property management or are thinking about buying your first investment property - do yourself a favor and learn how to be a professional property manager.  Learn the ropes of how to select and retain good tenants and hopefully you won't run into this sort of problem ever again.

Lookup reverse phone number search services are pretty handy when it comes to figuring out who is harrassing your family.  The really nice thing about it is that now these searchable databases have all the cell phone number listings as well, meaning there is no-where to hide without paying a de-listing fee, which most people don't even know about.

If someone is bothering you or your family, if you're concerned about who your spouse or children are talking to on the phone, go on the offensive.  Click here to perform an address by phone number search and find out the name and address of who is calling you.  Go one step further and do a criminal background check if they seem really suspicious.

There are a few hot future jobs according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics which indicate some really odd-ball occupations which are growing quickly.  Chief amongst the seemingly obscure occupations is the theatrical make-up artist, which is expected to add only approximately 1000 occupations in the next few years, but this represents a staggering 50%+ growth rate versus the existing make-up labor force.

For this and more occupations with high growth rates, click here for the latest statistics.

The top future jobs for the next several years as determined by the US Gov't Bureau of Labor Statistics indicate there is still tremendous growth to be expected at the high end of nursing health care (registered nurses), business administration (executive secretaries, managerial analysts, accountants and auditors), post-secondary educators, and computer software engineering.

All of the top ten high net job position growth occupations with above average wages required at least some post-secondary education.  Click here for more information on these occupations and how to position yourself for one of these above average wage earning fields.
