Pagerank How to Guides – Search Engine Results Domination
Posted by Product Reviews on June 8th, 2009
inPagerank how to guides are a dime a dozen on the web, and I don’t intend for one minute to waste your time telling you about some ebook I’ve written on the topic. Waste-of-time. What I will do on the other hand is tell you that I am doing well in my efforts to dominate search engine results for targeted keywords and I am willing to tell you exactly which tools I am using to do it.
If you are anything like me you’ve spent a considerable amount of time working for other people who neither appreciate you nor fully compensate you for your contributions. As a result you’ve taken up internet marketing as a way to replace or enhance your income so you can live the lifestyle of your dreams. If you’re coming to this page then you’ve either tried article marketing and are looking for guidance, or you’ve tried PPC advertising and gotten your wallet emptied and you’re looking for a new direction. In either case, you’re in the right place.
I have had a great deal of success following the Deming method (Plan-Do-Check-Act) of continuous improvement in developing strategies to dominate search engine results. In the posts and articles below you will see each and every piece of software I use and a description of why I find it useful. I do have to say the three most powerful tools are WordPress Goldmine and One Week Marketing (the Plan phase), SENuke (the Do phase), and WebComp Analyst (the Check phase).
In fairness I should disclose that One Week Marketing is one of the Pagerank How to Guides online. Having said that, I’d have no clue how to do what I do without it and its author, PotPieGirl.
I should add that part of the PLAN phase is a TESTING phase. I use USFreeAds (get the premium account – it’s well worth the $10/month – unlimited HTML ads) to throw schtuff on the wall quickly and see what sticks.

Ditch Your Boss for Tissa Godavitarne
Posted by Web 2.0 on March 30th, 2009
inSO another weekend has come and gone and I’m back to work. My former boss (who still has some authority over what information system access I had) is being a real “insert not nice word of choice here”. I had found last year that it was time for the old ditch your boss routine… and now that I’m no longer a direct subordinate she goes out of her way to do petty things like mess with my information system access to aggravate me. Why 3M refuses to do anything about her is beyond me. She is a cancer in this place that needs to be excised or some serious chemo.
Spent much of the weekend doing spring clean up around the yard (gotta love the new chainsaw… more on that later) and otherwise preparing for next weekend’s performance in Rochester. Went to an AMAZING performance of The Producers at the Palace Theatre with my friend Matt Mercier. I hope others go to see it as well.
I did find some time to work on my article marketing and get the next campaign setup in SENuke. Man that program just continues to get better. I was relieved to learn that the writers of the program are going to close the program off at 1000 subscriptions. That should both limit the competition and seriously motivate my readers to get with the freakin’ program and sign up already.
Late on Sunday night had a terrific webinar with Tissa Godavitarne – he of the free people search biz. Man that guy is a genius. I can’t say enough about how using his search business and just sort of following the learning material links have brought me so far up the learning curve. Yeah, he’s earned a number of commissions at my expense however I feel as though that is pocket change given how far my knowledge of Google and Web 2.0 has advanced in the last 10-12 weeks. Being able to go online with him yesterday and pose some questions about the search business was very cool. I don’t think he has to necessarily spend time teaching folks like me but I for one appreciate the opportunity to learn from someone obviously more experienced than me.
I have to run now but I hope everyone who reads this is having a better day than I am. Hopefully you have already figured out how to ditch your boss… or perhaps your boss isn’t as awful as my former boss is being.
Take care and have a great day.

The Way to Internet Riches is Paved with Hard Work
Posted by Web 2.0 on March 18th, 2009
inSo I spent the bulk of my evening that I otherwise would have spent socializing working my butt off. I continue to work at my websites and campaigns, today examining a domain hosting program as well as a cheap domain registration program. Both are critical elements of any large scale internet marketing program, particularly if you want to send links from the premium article publishing sites back to your affiliate programs via domain redirect. Sites like Ezines don’t allow direct affiliate linking, but you can do so via a re-directed primary domain (i.e. a www.mysite.com address) . You can’t do such a link through a sub-domain, so that means if you’re article marketing on the cheap then you still need to do a bunch of fire and forget cheap domain registration to setup all the domain forwarding (redirecting) and masking. SENuke continues to be the greatest thing since sliced bread. I don’t know that all of you will ever try using it, but if you do the article marketing campaign and have some success but want to go after the big fish… SENuke puts your article marketing program on steriods. Definitely get the professional version… it costs double per month, but it does 100 times as much.
